POS rollout for a national payments network

Replacing ageing point-of-sale hardware with a tablet-based platform, without interrupting service.

The challenge

One of the country’s largest point-of-sale payment networks was running on ageing hardware and software that needed replacing while service continued uninterrupted.

What we did

We built a single-page tablet app backed by a REST API that isolated the legacy systems, and re-implemented the existing products on the new interface. It was delivered with full interaction-based test coverage and close coordination with the existing technical teams to keep service running throughout.
